Description
I am a solo female traveller that is attempting to slow travel around the world. I like to take my time to get to know the each country on a more personal level in regards to the people, history, culture, traditions etc. One of my goals is to volunteer in each country I travel to as a way of giving back to the community where I am staying. I am hoping to learn more about the world and also about myself, plus hopefully a few new skills along the way.

I am a mother of three grown children so have a lot of experience with domestic things like cooking, cleaning, organising etc. I have had experience in many fields professionally from hospitality, to finance, software implementations and more recently a full time carer for my elderly parents during covid. I am a kind of do it yourself person so like to try my hand at most things. Recently I have become interested in living a more organic and sustainable lifestyle so like to look at natural alternatives, organic products, trying to learn to grow things and make things for myself from scratch like natural beauty products although this can be hard to do whilst travelling as I can't bring all my products, utensils with me. I currently work as a digital nomad for myself and I have a website that sells children's language books and some language resources (for Pacific Islands languages).

I did learn piano when I was at school so am also able to read music (its been a while but its like riding a bike I guess)! Also have some knowledge in regards to building websites, administration type work and am good with excel spreadsheets and databases.
