Bonjour ! My name is Katie and I am 22, from Melbourne, Australia. I'm a positive, kind and energetic person and I find my happiness in being active, spending time with my family and our dog, visiting new restaurants with friends and meeting new people. I love the outdoors and heading away from the busyness of city life when I get the chance! Working with people and being part of a team is something I really enjoy and feel rewarded by. I'm always up for a challenge and love finding the happiness in everyday moments.

I would love to practise my French and speak as little English as possible in my Workaway stays! I am in France on a Working Holiday Visa and have studied the language for a few years, with this trip always having been my lifelong dream to now come and speak French with locals.

I have experience in gardening, home maintenance, painting and animal care, including on farms. I hold an international driver's license, am highly equipped in household tasks and have extensive childcare experience. I am physically active and can handle reasonable manual labour. In everything I do I have a high level of attention to detail, commitment and perseverance, and I hold a bachelor's degree in International Business. Quite simply I also really enjoy teamwork, challenging myself, learning new things and staying positive and meeting new people all throughout!
