Description

I am Sean, a 47 year old Englishman.
I grew up in the countryside but moved to the city of London very soon after leaving school, so lost a very important part of my life to work and a career.
I like to hike, climb and any activities that allow me to enjoy the outdoors.
I have spent most of my adult life working as a carpenter but for the passed 10 years J have built houseboats and off grid properties. I have spent the last 2 years off grid in Els Ports Natural Park.
Unforseen life changes have given me to opportunity to volunteer and travel again, so my journey begins again.

I always try to pick up small pieces of languages but I am not very good at mastering them, it's learning just enough to get by and and an extensive use of universally recognised hand gestures that has always been my saviour, i.e.pointing and grunting.

I am a skilled carpenter so can offer help with any woodwork ranging from heavy building work to simple firewood and log splitting.
I can offer help with gardening as my mother and grandfather are both very experienced at this and have taught me a huge amount in the garden during my life
I have a great deal of farming experience which includes working with machinery.
I am capable of most off grid tasks, solar and electrics, water pumping and irrigation, heating, hydroponics, composting, building and maintenance, pruning and harvesting.
I am not afraid of hard or dirty work, I will happily get stuck into any job that is required of me with very little complaint. I only have to be asked once and the job will get done, even if I do not know how to do the job properly, I am a great listener and quick learner so you would only have to explain one time and that is all I would need.
