Description
We’re looking for a small tribe to join our adventure from May - November 2024.
Together we are regenerating 9 acres of sacred land & creating a sustainable, collective, restorative space, which we affectionately call Mandala.
We’re camping, creating & building infrastructure… garden huts, bush regeneration, water catchment, permaculture & syntropic gardening, caring & sharing, within an environment that encourages self care, conscious living & respectful relationship.
We can offer a beautiful, nature based, place to stay with food provided, in exchange for your valued contribution. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You’ll be working beside friendly, fun people, with a broad range of experience, learning new skills along the way…Builder, Engineer, Permaculture & Syntropic Gardeners etc.
We will be supporting personal development, encouraging each other & unpacking the collective issues we’re faced with, in our day to day lives.
Our intention is to create a fun, short term project, that embraces opportunity for learning & growth.
We want those that are here with us to leave enriched, as much as they will enrich Mandala with their energy & valued contribution.Help
We’re at the beginning, building the infrastructure & looking for people to help with a range of building projects, gardening, orchard, tree planting, weeding, bush regeneration & cleaning.
We need supportive people who are compassionate & kind. We will be doing some personal development along this journey, so listening, sharing & caring for yourself & others is imperative.Languages

At the moment we are glamping, in tents, undercover with comfy beds. You will have your own space with a mattress & bedding supplied. The infrastructure is basic, until we create it, but we have an undercover camping area, kitchen, bathrooms & showers.
We will provide 3 meals, 5 days per week (workdays). Afternoons & weekends is free time, when everyone can do their own thing & explore our beautiful island.
We’re happy to negotiate your working hours at Mandala, to accommodate doing some paid work on the island. 😊What else ...
Magnetic Island is a stunning location on the Great Barrier Reef. 78% is National Park. There is much to enjoy around you.
We are creating this sacred space, a place for people to retreat from the ‘broken world’ into a space which is nurturing & supportive.
This is not a commercial venture, it’s our home, that we will share with our local community & wellbeing practitioners for gatherings, shared meals, yoga, healing & learning together.
We are creating a wholesome, sacred space that supports health & wellbeing. We don't have smoking, drugs or alcohol on this land. There’s plenty of fabulous places you can go for a drink on the island. We simply & respectfully ask that you’re not intoxicated here.
We’d prefer people who are looking for a longer stay. Minimum 1 month.A little more information
