Hello everyone,

My name is Julien, I am 27 years old and I come from Brittany, in western France. I studied political science and worked with local elected officials, assisting them in various aspects of their mandate. I am passionate about politics, geopolitics and, to a lesser extent, history. In August 2025, I decided to take a break from my office job to discover the world in a more concrete and simpler way.

Since then, I have travelled to Switzerland to enjoy different WWOOFing experiences, first in Zurich and then in the Jura. I have helped with gardening, construction (carpentry) and maintenance work, as well as daily household chores. I also spent some time in Hanover, Germany, in September.

I am curious, sociable and hard-working. I enjoy sharing ideas, discussing culture and contributing to collective projects. I adapt easily and am always motivated to learn new skills. I speak French (native language), English (fluent) and know a few words of German.

Workaway is an excellent opportunity for me to make myself useful, discover different ways of life and share authentic moments with my hosts and other volunteers.

Hello everyone,

This will be my first experience through Workaway, not formal volunteering, although I have some prior associative experience. More recently, I spent several weeks WWOOFing in Switzerland on organic farms, gaining hands-on experience in gardening, carpentry, maintenance, and household chores.

I am a quick learner, hardworking, patient, and curious. I enjoy connecting with others, and am skilled at helping people learn (e.g., languages like French).
