Profile information

Description
My name is Jolina, a 23-year-old German who grew up in Austria. I am an outgoing and sociable person and most of the time you will see me with a grin on my face.
Before starting my Social Work studies in autumn, I want to use this time to travel with purpose, improve my English, and be part of meaningful projects.
I’m especially interested in animal-related projects, particularly animal care and rescue environments, as animals have always been an important part of my life. Being in nature, spending time with animals, and contributing to a calm and caring atmosphere give me a lot of energy. I also enjoy cultural exchange, learning about different ways of life, and building genuine connections beyond just a work arrangement.
In my free time, I love cooking (vegetarian/vegan), spending time outdoors, and creating order and structure. A warm-hearted, respectful way of living together and open communication are very important to me.

More details about your skills
I have a lot of experience with animals and love helping take care of them. I grew up with a cat and a dog, who is now ten years old. I’ve worked on a horse farm, used to ride horses, and often helped on a friend’s farm with sheep and chickens. I enjoy helping with feeding, cleaning, and daily care, and I approach animals with patience and attention. I’m happy to help make life easier for both animals and people by taking care of daily routines and providing a calm, reliable presence.
I also have experience in childcare. I did a Workaway stay in Ireland, looking after two boys aged 8 and 12. In addition, during the first part of my psychotherapy training (not completet yet), I worked closely with children facing mental illness, learning how to support them, stay calm, and create a safe and positive environment. I can contribute by providing careful, attentive support, helping children feel comfortable, and supporting daily routines.
I’m also happy to help with household tasks, like cooking (vegetarian and vegan), cleaning, and organizing. I like to make daily life run smoothly, bring structure where it’s needed, and create a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
Overall, I aim to support wherever I can, help with animals, children, and the household, and contribute to a friendly, calm, and caring environment for everyone.
