Description

I look forward to all the experiences I will gain from my Workaway journeys. I think this form of travel is genius and will give a much deeper understanding of different cultures than conventional travel.
In my free time I enjoy playing piano, guitar, trumpet, and singing. Would be happy to teach both guitar, piano, and singing!
I like working outside and the way manual work gives peace of mind.
I grew up on a small farm where, through the years, we've had Icelandic horses, sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, and even a donkey. I have always enjoyed being around the animals, helping out when processing chicken, welcoming lambs, and riding our horses.
I have experience with childcare through working in a daycare/kindergarten and as an assistant teacher. So I have experience with children from ages 9 months up to about 16 years.
I’ve always liked cooking and baking and would love to learn about your local cooking or family recipes.
