More details about your skills
I speak German, English, French, and a bit of Spanish, which I hope to continue improving during my stay. Currently, I am traveling through Peru. Before that, I volunteered in hostels in Argentina for two-week periods at a time, where I supported daily operations and worked with guests from all over the world.
Earlier in my trip, I did a Workaway in Puerto Montt, helping on a farm with gardening tasks, and in Punta Arenas, where I worked in the agricultural sector, mainly harvesting and taking care of greenhouses. During the first six weeks of my journey, I also volunteered at a German primary school in Santiago.
As I continued my travels, I spent five weeks in Peru working in an English-speaking kindergarten, which was a very rewarding experience and helped me develop patience, responsibility, and creativity when working with children. After that, I volunteered in an eco lodge in the Peruvian rainforest and continued my trip to the north coast, where I spend three weeks cleaning and doing basic chores in a surf hostel. Right now, I am in Costa Rica, watching two little kids.
Back in Germany, I also worked as a private tutor for primary school students.
I enjoy cooking and baking, even though my skills are still quite basic, and I’m always happy to try new recipes. I also take care of general household tasks such as cleaning, doing laundry, and washing dishes. I’m a quick learner and always eager to develop new skills and take on new challenges.
In Germany, I worked for one and a half year in a bakery with a café, so I am already used to the contact with customers.
In my freetime, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors and doing sports. I also like music and taking photos or being creative in general.
I am really looking forward to meeting new people, gaining experiences and learning as much as I can.
