Description

I love meeting new people, learning about and immersing myself in new cultures and being outside. From hiking to biking and camping, spending time in nature and explore new places is what brings me happiness. I have a background in environmental communication/ campaigning ( worked in this sector). I also have co-produced an environmental feature film and am really interested in developing my filmmaking/photography skills. I have experience in gardening (have an allotment) and animals (have had lots of different pets).

I am currently working towards my TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) qualification. I am teaching myself Spanish and am open to learning new languages. I am also teaching myself British Sign Language.

I have a variety of customer facing experience which ranges from running my own bakery for 2 years, to being a housekeeper in a 5 star hotel and most recently working with the National Trust for Scotland. I spent last summer as an Outreach Assistant with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust. This experience led me to develop a great love for Scotland and its wildlife.
I also have photography, social media marketing and filmmaking experience. I love to sea kayak, cycle and climb. I hold a 16hr outdoors first aid certificate and am a trained mental health first aider.
