Description

An easy-going, practical guy who is just as happy deep in conversation as working on a project.
I grew up in the countryside in the UK, I’ve had dirt under my fingernails most of my life—could be lending a hand in the garden, working with animals, or on hands-on (diy) project.
I like the idea of intentional travel, slow living, and learning by doing, whatever it is. I have a campervan which is self-converted (left in the UK) which was really fun to do, it gave me a foundation in wood work and general DIY, basic plumbing, so could be of help to some people and their projects.
Having the camper helps me spend more time by the coast, which is where I’d like to end up eventually! For me, the ultimate goal of travelling is to explore new places, connect with open-minded people, involve myself and learn about sustainable ways of living - leaving the rat race you could call it!? I find eco-tourism and off-grid hosting pretty interesting and I’m at a point where I’m looking to eventually find a piece of land of my own, renovate a space, and create a welcoming place to host people!

My corporate career is in software consulting (ERP finance)—a completely different world to my hands-on hobbies! If you need a hand with any tech, I’d be happy to help too.

Practical stuff - DIY: Full campervan conversion experience (framing, insulation, cladding, basic electrics, and clever space optimization). Happy to help with renovations, eco-builds, or general maintenance.
Gardening & Landscaping: Comfortable with soil preparation, planting, weeding, and managing outdoor spaces.
Animal Care & Rural Life: completely comfortable around animals and the daily rhythm of rural properties.
General Handyman: Quick to pick up new tools, highly adaptable, and always happy to lend a spare hand wherever it’s needed most.

What else ...

I love the coast and try to get in the water as much as possible (surfing or just a swim). If your project or home is near the sea, this is a bonus!
I enjoy cooking and experimenting with food.
I love music, listening while I work, or just having a good playlist on in the car or evenings.
I also appreciate a good bit of downtime and having interesting conversations over a drink or a meal at the end of the day.
