Description

Hey! We’re Jakub and Kristýna from the Czech Republic. After a long time of planning and dreaming, we finally decided to turn those plans into reality. Our journey begins in Thailand and continues through Southeast Asia, with stops in India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

Jakub is a calm, reliable, and hands-on person with a background in viticulture and oenology work in multiple countries, including our home. He enjoys physical work, daily routines, and learning by doing, especially in farm and garden environments. Kristýna has a background in social and humanitarian work, healthcare, and volunteering. She has experience working as a practical nurse with children, families, and people from different social and cultural backgrounds. She is empathetic, responsible, and used to teamwork as well as taking initiative.

We are interested in community life, cultural and language exchange, sustainable living, and eco-projects. What attracts us most is learning how people cooperate, share responsibilities, and support each other in farm and family environments.

In our free time, we enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s yoga, hiking, climbing trees, or any kind of physical activity. We also like cooking, taking care of plants or animals, drawing, reading, and sharing cultures through everyday moments and conversations. We are independent, hard-working, proactive, and easygoing. We are not looking for luxury, but rather a homey environment where one feels safe and warm when falling asleep :)

For us, this journey is about learning and sharing knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. We look forward to exchanging stories, skills, and memories together.
