Hii! I'm Izaline 🌞

I'm originally from the Netherlands, but I spent most of my life growing up in Curaçao, a small Caribbean island. Growing up there gave me a deep love for the ocean, nature, and an interest in different cultures and ways of life.

Over the past few years, I've turned my curiosity about the world into adventures. I've traveled to many places, stayed with the locals, volunteered through Workaway, and most recently spent a year living and working in New Zealand. There, I worked various agricultural jobs, worked as a barista at a ski field and later at a surf shop café, learned to snowboard and surf, explored incredible places, and met amazing people who taught me so much about life, community, and different ways of living.

Besides traveling, I love being creative. You'll often find me watercolor painting, drawing, taking photos, making jewellery, or working on other creative projects. I'd love to share more of my travels and creative lifestyle online, with the dream of one day building a life where I can combine creativity, work, and travel.

Some of the things that bring me the most joy are surfing, van life, sunrise coffees, yoga, road trips, making meaningful connections, creating art, and spending time in nature. I'm also passionate about personal growth, mindfulness, meditation, and spirituality.

I believe people make the experience. Some of the most valuable moments in life come from connecting with others, sharing stories, and learning from different perspectives.

Some things I can offer:

- Animal care/farming: I’ve worked on a camel farm and have been riding horses since I was 9 years old.
- Photography: I’m still learning, but I’m getting better at it!
- Art and design/DIY: I love to paint, draw, make things and design things.
- Good with children
- Cooking: I love to cook and try new recipes.
- Barista skills: I can make great coffee and create latte art!

I still have many skills to learn, but I’m very motivated and a quick learner :)

Work experience:
- Tour guide at a camel dairy: I led guided tours for large groups (up to 100 people) and supervised children's parties at the farm.
- Barista experience: I have experience working as a barista and creating latte art.
- Horse riding: I’ve been riding horses since I was 9 years old and am accustomed to helping take care of them.
