Hello! My name is Ivy, I'm 27 years old and from Devon, UK. I love music and wildlife above all else, and I am a DJ/music producer with a passion for underground music and culture. I am very passionate about social and environmental justice and have a great interest in alternative ways of living, and working with the land sustainably and mindfully. I have spent time on communes and land projects and they've been some of the best experiences of my life. I love bugs, wildflowers, being in nature, meeting new people, reading books, drinking tea and I am up for a challenge and learning new things. More than happy to get stuck in doing manualk work, whether that's on the land, using tools, carpentry, just up for learnng and sharing skills.

My main skills are in music and sound (dj/music producer), but I can also do all kinds of manual labour. I am very passionate about plants (my knowledge is mainly in UK/European wild plants), and utilising them in medicine and food. I have experience working on the land and in gardens (I'm very passionate about regenerative land skills and and sustainable growing methods) and on house renovations (sanding/painting/cutting wood/making wooden structures). I love cooking and can cook veggie/vegan meals for large groups, I can look after children (experience in an informal setting), and I can do all kinds of housework (I have professional experience as a cleaner in multiple settings). I am also very keen to help with creative projects (writing/music/art/) etc. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and am up for all kinds of odd jobs. I am also currently working towards a Forest School Level 3 qualification.

My hobbies are making music/DJ'ing, herbalism, reading, hiking, learning about wildlife, festivals, games, art and craft. Skills I would like to learn include plumbing, grafting fruit trees, languages (French and German), how to find water sources, beekeeping, and sustainable growing methods/permaculture/biodynamics. Would be interested in learning about any craft, especially if it relates to wildlife, folklore or sustainability. I want to hear stories about the place I'm staying, and history too.
