I'm that kind of person that would do the impossible only cause it's a sunny day, who love spending time in nature and outside, who has a special caring for all animals.

To dedicate my life and heart to wildlife conservation, animals welfare and living surrounded by nature is my goal, and while I continue studying for it, I decided to try and make an experience close to my life dream through WorkAway. My lifelong passion for horses has me searching also for someone who needs a hand with them, for I feel so in peace just being around these beautiful creatures.

For my first time I'd like to travel in Europe, or not too far from it, willing to know my future hosts that I know they would share my own life prospective.

I've graduated from scientific high school Cambridge section in 2024 and now I'm currently studying Biology at University. I've achieved a C1 Cambridge certificate in English and during last year I worked as a waitress in a local pub.

I've always been doing sports, such as swimming before and then horse riding school since 12, not certainly an expert but I definitely have some experience. For this reason I'm also searching someone that works with horses or owns them because I'd love to help, either by riding them or train them, or just giving them company.

I have a garden which has hosted many cats and a dog.
I also love music since I was little until it became a proper passion, I study and play guitar and music is now part of my daily life.
Sometime I cook, recently I've been sewing.

These are some of the things I ever did, and more to come as I'm always there to learn something new!

Hi everyone, I'm writing this especially for future workawayers because I want to share what happened to me and the way it went with my hosts.
I had a terrible experience: I woke up the second day feeling ill. I couldn't work apart for day one, so soon I realize everything I had imagined for my trip was going adrift.

First day actually went… read more well: apart from the fact they had really bad influenza and were sadly still ill, they showed me their home and the animals, they have a really good place, something to restore, but I really liked the atmosphere and the room was comfortable.
I started having high fever and the second day I wanted to get checked, I had to go to the nearest hospital-30 mins away-, but they said they couldn't get me to it since they had all the work to do with the kids and the farm. I got to pay almost two hundred for a taxi to go there and back; apart from this case, they did give me a ride, but every time I had to ask for it- for health problems obviously- they would initially make problems about it. Anyway it seemed that I only had influenza and that I should have just rested.

I didn't know what to do, since I went there to work but I got ill instead, and didn't know how to behave in the house, because I was trying to rest staying in my bedroom, but also wanted to help them or just stay with them as much as the fever allowed me while trying not to disturb.
The day I got ill they tried to help me with home remedies, I thank Lisa for this, she repeated I will recover and that I had to rest, but soon after she started acting different and almost irritated. I now don't blame her for this because I can understand the situation was not the best, but overall I wouldn't have behaved like that if I had been her, with someone you're hosting and who's in actual struggle and pain.
When I tried to work another day, when I thought I was feeling better, fever came again during the night, I tried to say that to Lisa but she believed I was faking- still don't get why I should have since I paid to get to them and do what they asked but I just couldn't- and didn't want to hear any excuses; I worked the morning anyway putting the triple effort into it, but as soon I finished they gave me another task and I knew I couldn't make it.

I talked to Lisa and from that moment my last days there were days when I tried to get better to get back home. She was comprehensive and said I could stay until I needed, but I decided to interrupt and get home as soon as I figured it out how to: I didn't want to stay all the time there just feeling worse and alone, since we got to see or talk to each other very little. I couldn't work and recover for who knows how long, maybe for all the time I planned the experience.
I continued to feel ill, every medicine didn't work, I wanted to get back to cure myself; had another visit, Lisa accompanied me, same result of the first; finally bought a long long train trip home. I got back really bad, next day I was hospitalized with severe pneumonia and bacteria infection.

Lots of things went wrong, lots of things could have been avoided- I still am confused on how I should have managed the situation better than this, whether I should have done differently according to a workaway experience, but I know I really did everything could.
Even though I don't have news from them since the day I left, I already had wished Lisa, Tore, little Bruno and Taave my best luck, something I probably didn't have, and to grow as much as possible even in my misadventure, because I surely did, and to learn from it everything possible for future warkawayers.
