Hi everyone!
My name is Irene, I’m a 27-year-old journalist from Italy.
Ever since I was a child, I’ve been obsessed with geography, maps, and discovering new places around the world. That passion led me to study international relations and human rights for both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Over the years, I completely fell in love with Scandinavia and its vast, cold landscapes. There’s something about those places that makes me feel deeply connected to nature and adventure - even if, as a journalist, I still struggle to fully describe it with words. I spent a year studying in Sweden, and later decided to start another master’s degree focused on Arctic geopolitics, hoping to continue researching this fascinating region.
But beyond academics, my biggest passions are traveling, adventure, and the outdoors. After attending an artistic high school and taking photography courses, I developed a huge love for nature photography - and I almost never leave home without my camera.
I love mountains, hiking, climbing, and simply being outside. For me, happiness is sharing good moments with good people, surrounded by nature, stories, and a bit of adventure.
