Inês
Hello, my names is Inês (yes, no one gets it right ahaha). I'm from Portugal and I have 24 yo. I'm a sound designer and also a photographer. I was working for a media production company to save money for this trip and I'm super glad it's finally happening!
I was raised to be committed to my goals and I'm also very ambitious. When I was young I used to spend my summer with my grandparents on their village were we have land or camping with my parents. During the school year I'd have scouts activities and music practice. Nowadays I'm still passionate about both nature and music! On my free time I mostly like to go on hikes and to the beach, not just for a swim but also just to look at the ocean
I'm very hardworking, having done 2 bachelors in 5 years. In one semester I did Erasmus (student exchange program) in Czech Republic where I developed communication skills with people from different cultures and languages and travelled around Europe a lot. My first Workaway experience and also solo trip was back in 2021, since then I didn't have a chance to volunteer again but I hosted a lot of people for a renovation project
I speak portuguese and english fluently. I consider myself medium at spanish. I can speak and understand a tiny bit of french and italian. I've been learning vietnamese on Duolingo app and I'm eager to test it out.

Hello! I’m Filipe, a 24-year-old guy from Portugal who loves photography, nature, peaceful places, and going on hikes. I enjoy connecting with different people, listening to their stories, and learning about new cultures.
After spending some time working in the corporate world, I realized it wasn’t for me, so I decided to pack my bags and travel, meeting new people and exploring what the world has to offer.
I’m respectful, cooperative, and always happy to help however I can.
For the past few years, I’ve been working as a professional photographer and videographer, creating diverse visual content. I have many interests, including cooking and trying new recipes from around the world. Food is a wonderful way to share and learn about different cultures.
I speak Portuguese and English fluently, and I also know a bit of French and Spanish. I enjoy learning new languages and ways of communication.

I’m a highly adaptable and creative individual with a strong ability to quickly learn and handle various tasks. I have experience in gardening and plant care, understanding their needs and ensuring they thrive. I’ve worked as a babysitter and grew up as the older brother of three, so I’m great with kids and very comfortable handling their needs. I’ve also worked in sales, honing my ability to quickly understand and respond to people’s needs. Additionally, I’m skilled in olive oil production, having helped Inês's family with this process—just a fun extra skill I’ve picked up xD. My perfectionism drives me to deliver high-quality work on time, with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. I bring a positive attitude and dedication to every situation, always eager to contribute and assist wherever needed.
Photography and Videography: For the past few years, I’ve been working as a professional photographer and videographer, handling a variety of projects like real estate, promotional work, events, and product shoots. I’ve collaborated with many different types of clients to understand their needs and create visual content that effectively supports their goals. My comfort with various types of camera work and my knack for capturing what’s needed make me a great fit for any visual project.

I have a diverse set of skills that I’m excited to bring to any project. Professionally, I have experience in sound design and field recording, which has sharpened my attention to detail and creativity. I’ve also worked in hospitality, waiting tables, and in childcare as a babysitter, both of which have taught me patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. Cooking is a passion of mine—especially preparing tasty meals for large groups. At home, I manage a vegetable garden and contribute to my family's olive oil production, giving me hands-on agricultural knowledge. I've also participated in permaculture workshops, and I’m eager to deepen my understanding in this area. I studied music and can help new learners with sheet music or on the piano. Additionally, I have house maintenance and renovation experience, from painting to woodwork, and I consider myself proactive and resourceful, ready to tackle any task that comes my way
