I`m Henrik, 27 years old writer and filmmaker from Norway. I am a positive, gentle and easygoing man with an adventurous spirit. Growing up in western Norway, hiking the mountains, taking in the peace of the woods or working outside with my hands gave me a deep appreciation of the outdoors. When I`m not exploring new hiking trails looking for inspiration for my creative work, you can find me reading a philosophy book in the sun, trying cooking new food recipes, or exchanging stories with friends around the campfire.
I recently joined Workaway where I believe its the best way to travel and learn about other cultures is to connect with people through the local culture communities and nature.

Growing up with a father who was a carpenter, I have got used to a lot of hard work spending time helping and learning about the craft. Whether its painting fences, woodworking , bushcraft or weeding the home garden, or helping cooking food, I`m always eager to learn all new kinds of practical things. I love being around animals, and growing up, spending time walking long hikes with my dog was a daily joy for me. And coming from rural western Norway, I am very comfortable with hard labour and being around animals . While I dont have any direct farm work experience, I am eager to learn new skills, especially more around animal care.
Now I mainly work alot with writing and filmmaking, so I`m happy to also help with some photography if needed, but I prioritize being technology-free and living in the moment.

As of other hobbies or interests, I love making a campfire, bush-crafting, telling or listening to stories, talking about life philosophy. Walking the family dog on a long trip, taking photos or making nature edits/videos.
