I am languageteacher and love learning new languages - especially the language of the countries I visit. I am happy to find here a beautiful possibility of exploring new countries, cultures and people. In fact, I prefer travelling by train and boat, being aware of the pollution and noise of aeroplanes, so my first voyages will be in big and beautiful Europe. But... my daughter moved to New Zealand, my cousin lives in Seattle - so I guess some time I will choose to travel to the other side of the world!
During the past years I have been housesitting, taking care of a cats and gardens - I loved it. I always had a garden (vegetables, wild flowers, fruit) and long ago had my own cat. And chickens - using the eggs to bake :-)
I love being outside, gardening, walking, cycling, enjoying nature - and being creative: playing piano, dancing, reading and writing.
I look forward to explore new cities and landscapes, and to meet new lovely people to share our experience and languages!

I teach Dutch to foreign people, people from Europe and all over the world. Together we talk about our different countries, and the differences between our languages. I also teach German to Dutch people, and am translator German and French.
When I am not teaching I go outside. Help my mother with gardening her 3000m2, full of flowers, fruit trees and vegetables. My balcony is a small garden where I try to make my alternative sub-tropical edible and insectfriendly potterygarden.
Taking care of cats and chickens.
I love to create things in many ways... playing music on the piano, writing stories, weaving, baking.
