The area we live in is called the Berner Oberland (Bernese Alps) - very famous high mountains (Eiger, Jungfrau...), nice for hiking. The Jungfrau cog railway goes to the Jungfrau railway station, the highest in Europe. The area with it's high mountains and lakes is also a perfect place for paragliding, base jumping (if you're mad), sailing and other watersports in Summer and skiing in Winter.

We need help digging out bramble roots and help with looking after our vines according to the biodynamic principles, which includes quite a lot of weeding.

It was our first workaway experience and I feel that we could not have chosen better, although I can not compare I have to say that with Marc and the other people who came by made you feel like family from the first minute, Marc is a good guy and is also quite flexible with his workawayers, it was a fantastic experience for us.

Very happy to have had Joes great help over 5 weeks in the vineyard and very greatful to have had him - a very nice guy - with us in our place. Joe knows loads about wine, so we had a lot to talk about. And we all enjoyed the Paella he cooked for us! I highly recommend Joe to any other host, THANKS!

Cyrus stayed with us for a couple of weeks. We enjoyed having him with us a lot and he did a good job in the vineyard where he was weeding and tying the vines to the stakes. Elly and Ben stayed with us for a couple of weeks, mostly rainy days but still they kept on going in the vineyard even when drenched to the bone. Elly and Ben are a wonderful young couple and very keen on helping in the house too. We very nmucgh appreciated their help in the kitchen. THANKS!
