We’re Poppy and Harry, in our mid-late 20s and originally from the Midlands in England. We're currently on our first working holiday visa in Australia. After spending the past six months working full-time in Brisbane, we’re now road-tripping our way down to Tasmania to enjoy the second half of our visa adventure.

Poppy - I love travelling and exploring new cultures, and I’m happiest when I’m outdoors or around animals. I’m a self-motivated person who enjoys staying busy and helping others wherever I can. My experience spans fast-paced hospitality environments and corporate roles, giving me strong adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering work to a high standard. I always strive to go above and beyond for the people I work with and for.

Harry - I’m a hardworking and reliable tradesperson with strong experience in construction, particularly in carpentry and roof tiling. I’m physically fit, motivated, and confident in demanding, hands-on environments. Outside of work I’m passionate about hiking and climbing, which keeps me active, focused, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. I take pride in producing high-quality work, pay close attention to detail, and bring a strong work ethic to every job. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I’m committed to getting the job done safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Poppy - I have a wide range of skills that make me well suited for a range of practical roles. My previous work experiences in hospitality shows i am a reliable, hardworking and able to stay focused in fast pace environments. I have also worked for the UKs national health service doing various administrative roles, this experience gave me a strengthened attention to detail, organisational abilities and commitment to follow procedures acutely.
I am very adaptabil, quick to learn new tasks and confident taking responsibility. Alongside this I have good communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well on my own or as part of a team.

Harry - I have strong practical skills and hands-on experience developed through my background in carpentry, roof tiling and labouring. These roles have given me excellent physical stamina, a solid work ethic and confidence working in demanding environments. I'm used to handling tools and equipment safely, following instructions accurately and completing tasks to a high standard. Working across different types of physical jobs has made me adaptable, reliable and quick to learn new skills. I bring good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and a willingness to work hard, making me well suited to a wide range of physical or active roles.
