Hello, my name is Haru😊
I am currently looking for a host around Denmark. Please feel free to contact me.

I am an university student in Japan but I am having a gap year to study in a folk hojskole.
I want to stay as a workawayer from July2026 to early August2026 (before folk hojskole starts.) .
I am very flexible, open-minded, curiosity, and willing to try new things.
I really like to touch other way of thinking, to discuss, to make something (such as cuisine, arts, crafts, photography… every creative thing.).

I am very interested in…
・Living people who have different culture
・cooking
・craft and art
・Exploring creativity
・communicating with people
・experience the daily life of a family from a different cultural background

Here is what I can do for you…
・take care of children (I have many siblings. I have joined a summer camp as a volunteer every season.)
I really enjoy playing with kids.
・teach Japanese and Japanese culture (especially I have a license of teaching SHODO.)
・do art and craft with kids (I have experienced ceramic, shodo, visual art, DIY craft, textiles, and photo as hobby.)
・cooking Japanese food
・do general household chores

Also, I am interested in the way of Danish lifestyle such as hygge, eco-life, and designing own life.
If possible, I would prefer an urban area where I can also explore the town, ideally in Denmark or nearby countries.
Most importantly, I hope to stay in a place where I can be involved in everyday life and build a respectful, open relationship with my hosts.

I’m happy to help with simple household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, gardening, and DIY. I enjoy working with my hands and helping out as part of daily life.
I can also teach basic Japanese if you’re interested.
Because I grew up with many siblings, I feel comfortable communicating with young children and enjoy spending time with them.
In my free time, I like photography, calligraphy, crafts, and ceramics. I enjoy creative activities and would be glad to share or help with creative projects if there is an opportunity.
