Description
Hello! I'm Hannah. I'm excited to be here. I love connecting with people who live where I travel as well as learning new skills and sharing the skills I have.
I grew up in a rural area and have spent time on farms, working construction, working for an arborist pruning and cutting trees. I kept bees for many years and enjoy gardening and being outside.
Professionally, I have mostly worked with people in the field of social work. I worked with families to help them learn about child development and supported them in parenting the way they wanted to through reflection and providing information, I worked with adults experiencing homelessness, I have worked with youth in many settings: at a childcare, an after school program, doing ecological education and outdoor adventures, and with youth who are in trouble with the law.
Currently, I am excited to spend time connecting with a family or community, improving my language skills (français or español) , getting to know the culture, and helping as I am able. It is good to be of use.

I have basic carpentry experience, am very handy with tools, am good at pruning trees, I am comfortable in a garden or on a farm, I have experience with animals (chickens, goats, turkeys, bees - a tiny bit with cows and horses).
I love art and crafts and am good with design. I am quite creative. I am also good with babies and worked for a few years supporting parents with their babies. I am good with people in general - I have mostly worked being a support to individuals and groups. I am good at seeing what needs to be done, I enjoy work, I love getting to know people and enjoy communication.

I have a lot of food allergies / sensitivities. They are not severe, but I don't feel great after I eat them. My allergies are to many kinds of spices, tomatoes, and citrus. Usually, it is possible to take a portion of the food out for me before the spice
