Hi! I'm Ronja, a 22-year-old Political Science student from Germany, full of positive energy and always up for an adventure. Right now, I’m living in Toronto as an exchange student at York University, and I’m excited to explore more of this beautiful country after I graduate in April.

I absolutely love nature—whether it's hiking, swimming (I swam in a club for 10 years), or canoeing, I’m happiest when I’m outdoors. Besides this I'm also a creative person with a big love for the arts! This year, I’ve been singing and dancing in a university club, and I’m always excited to try new activities.

So far, I’ve traveled mostly in Central Europe, Spain, and Norway, where I had my first short Workaway experience—and I can’t wait for more! All in all, I’d describe myself as joyful, creative, and responsible, always eager to meet new people, learn new skills, and spend as much time outside as possible. Looking forward to new adventures!

I love cooking and baking—I usually bake a cake every week and have a special talent for German sourdough bread. Since I grew up with a family garden, I also have a good basic knowledge of gardening.

I really like animals, especially horses, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I’m happy to help take care of them—whether it’s feeding, cleaning, or anything else that needs to be done.

Besides that, I’d say I’m a motivated and quick learner, always ready to jump in wherever an extra pair of hands is needed!
