Description

I’m an outgoing, hardworking and independent individual that has experience living and working in many countries. I love keeping active, typically through a combination of hiking, running and swimming. My skills are suited to a variety of roles, including physical work, teaching and hospitality. I love trying new things, and recently enjoyed making my first Ceviche!

I’m currently on a 12-month working holiday, which has included time in Canada, Central, and South America. I spent four months working in the Canadian hospitality industry earlier this year, and I’m currently volunteering as an English teacher in the Peruvian Amazon.

I am looking for an opportunity that allows me to immerse myself in the culture of your country, and practice my Spanish.

I am interested in both learning Spanish and teaching English. I have been studying Spanish for 2 years, including a month spent at an immersive spanish school in Guatemala. I have experience teaching English, including to native Spanish speakers, at a hotel in Peru.

I have strong communication and organisation skills, which I have used during my recent experience as an English teacher in Peru.

I am physically active and accustomed to working in physically demanding roles. This includes time spent working at an ice rink in Canada, where I was responsible for maintenance.

Prior to my trip I worked in a professional office-based setting in London, where I developed strong computer skills.

I hold an intermediate level of Spanish proficiency, following a Spanish school in Guatemala.
