¡Hola! Soy Guillermo, y vivo en Barcelona. Tengo muchas ganas de seguir descubriendo el mundo, y hacerlo con Workaway es una manera más consciente y conectada con las personas y los lugares que visito. Me permite conocer y aprender sitios nuevos y cosas nuevas y aportar con mis experiencias.
Trabajo como director creativo en una agencia de publicidad, pero hace tiempo que siento la necesidad de reconectar con una vida más simple, más cercana a la naturaleza y al entorno rural. Después de años viajando de forma convencional, he decidido dar un giro y buscar experiencias más auténticas y sostenibles.
Me considero una persona responsable, comprometida y detallista. Me encanta aprender, colaborar en equipo y observar los pequeños detalles que hacen especial cada lugar. Valoro el trabajo bien hecho, el respeto por el entorno y la convivencia basada en el diálogo y el apoyo mutuo.
Lo que busco en Workaway es más que un simple intercambio: quiero implicarme en proyectos con impacto positivo, aprender de otras culturas, de otras formas de vivir, y reconectar con la tierra y explorar si una vida más sencilla y rural puede formar parte de mi futuro.

Hi! I'm Guillermo, and I live in Barcelona. I’m excited to keep discovering the world and Workaway is a more conscious way, truly connected to the people and places I visit, allowing culture, helping and learning exchange.
I work as a creative director at an advertising agency, but for a while now I’ve felt the need to reconnect with a simpler life, one that’s closer to nature and the rural world. After years of traveling in a conventional way, I’ve decided to take a new path and look for more authentic and sustainable experiences.
I consider myself a responsible, committed, and detail-oriented person. I love to learn, work in a team, and notice the little things that make each place special. I value meaningful work, respect for the environment, and living together through communication and mutual support.
What I’m looking for through Workaway is much more than just an exchange: I want to get involved in projects with a positive impact, learn from other cultures and ways of living, reconnect with the land, and explore whether a simpler, rural lifestyle could be part of my future.

Me gustaría mejorar mi inglés a nivel conversacional, ya que actualmente lo utilizo sobre todo en contextos laborales. También me interesa aprender lo básico del idioma local en los lugares a los que viaje con Workaway, como forma de integrarme mejor y conectar con la gente. Por otro lado, puedo ayudar a practicar conversación a quienes quieran mejorar su español, italiano o catalán. I’d like to improve my conversational English, since I currently use it mainly in professional settings. I’m also interested in learning the basics of the local language in the places I travel to with Workaway, as a way to connect better and feel more integrated. In return, I can help anyone interested in practicing Spanish, Italian, or Catalan through conversation.

Puedo ayudar en tareas creativas, organización, comunicación, jardinería, bricolaje y mantenimiento básico, cocina y más. Actualmente estoy haciendo un voluntariado en un comedor social para ancianos en Barcelona y está siendo una muy buena experiencia, por ello me he animado a empezar mi aventura como Workawayer :)
I can help with creative tasks, organization, communication, gardening, basic DIY and maintenance, cooking, and more. Right now, I’m volunteering at a community kitchen for elderly people in Barcelona — it’s been a great experience, and it’s inspired me to start my journey as a Workawayer :)

Se me da bien la cocina casera, la hospitalidad y el trato cercano con el público. Trabajé durante un tiempo en una parada de té, café y productos gourmet en el famoso mercado de la Boquería, en Barcelona. También tengo buena mano para la organización de espacios, la atención al detalle, la decoración y los trabajos sencillos de bricolaje y limpieza.
Me encantan los animales y disfruto mucho compartiendo tiempo con ellos.
Además, me gustaría aprender sobre jardinería, permacultura, vida en una granja y todo lo relacionado con entornos rurales y autosuficientes.
I’m good at home-style cooking, hospitality, and offering friendly, attentive service to the public. I previously worked at a tea, coffee, and gourmet products stall in the famous Boquería Market in Barcelona. I also enjoy organizing spaces, paying attention to detail, decorating, and doing simple DIY and cleaning tasks.
I love animals and really enjoy spending time with them.
I’m also very interested in learning about gardening, permaculture, farm life, and everything related to rural and self-sufficient living.
