    Description

    Welcome!

I will first introduce ourselves. Our family consists of three people. That is me, Patricia, my husband Richard and our son Eric. We are a Dutch family who have been living in Northern Sweden since May 2018. We are located on the North-East coast, a small place called Siknäs (Töre) in Kalix Kommun. Here we have a small farm with animals such as goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and alpacas.

This year we would like to install new fences for the animals and build a vegetable garden. The work therefore consists of helping with the fences and the vegetable garden, but also helping with taking care of the animals and small maintenance jobs on the farm. This can be from mowing the grass to painting some buildings, everything will be done in good consultation.

We offer of course, free accommodation, we have several option for this. We have an extra bedroom in our house so you will have your own private bedroom with TV. We have also a camper available with a double bed, kitchenette and toilet. And in the summer it's also possible to camp.
We will provide all the food and drinks during your stay with us and we will pay some pocket-money. You will have a car available to explore the area. In addition to work, there will be plenty of free time to explore the area.

This is a true paradise for cyclists, hikers, fishermen and nature lovers. There is an official swimming lake within walking distance (1,5km) Lulea is a 45-minute drive away. This is a nice, cozy city that also has an airport.

In the summer the Midnight Sun shines continuously for three months and you can therefore fully enjoy all the natural beauty, day and night. Simply a unique experience! And of course in the winter here you can also see the Northern lights. If you're lucky this can already be seen from the beginning of September.
