Description
Hello! We are Francina from Argentina and Mario from the Netherlands, travelling together with our young son, Sardius.
Our family connects two countries and cultures. We enjoy meeting people, sharing everyday life and getting to know a place beyond a short tourist visit. Nature, meaningful conversations and a welcoming atmosphere are things we value.
We are interested in stays where we can make a useful contribution, learn from our hosts and build relationships over time. We appreciate both shared moments and privacy, with clear agreements that work for everyone.
Some of our activities take place online, so we would like to agree on a practical rhythm that combines helping our hosts, working online and caring for our son. We remain responsible for his care.
Our experience of life between the Netherlands and Argentina has also inspired Two Summers, an initiative exploring trusted places to stay and lasting local connections. For us, it begins with meeting people and discovering what we can contribute to one another. -

More details about your skills
We bring complementary backgrounds and enjoy learning from the people we meet.
Francina studied civil engineering in Argentina and graduated in 2016. Her professional experience has developed including a master in ECO building materials, her planning, organisation, teamwork and problem-solving skills. She also has experience helping in her family's clothing shop and caring for her younger brother. Now a mother of Sardius.
Mario has been an entrepreneur since 1996, with a background in water technology, off grid innovation and organising projects. He can help with , watermanagment questions, digital tools and bringing structure to ideas and practical plans. He also enjoys cooking and sharing meals and did teach yoga for 15 years at Bezielen.
We can share our native languages, Spanish and Dutch, through informal conversation. We are interested in contributing to everyday household tasks, cooking and light gardening, with tasks and availability agreed in advance.
We travel with our young son and organise his care ourselves. We would like to find a realistic rhythm that combines our contribution, family life and some online work. -
What else ...
We are currently in the Netherlands and plan to be in Argentina from 17 November 2026 until 27 January 2027, before returning to the Netherlands.
We travel as a family with our young son, Sardius, and are interested in welcoming places where family life, a useful contribution and local connection can fit together.
Before arranging a stay, we would like to discuss suitable sleeping arrangements, internet access for some online work, the tasks involved and a realistic schedule. We organise our son's care ourselves and value clear agreements, privacy and shared moments.
We are especially interested in light practical tasks, cooking, language exchange, digital support and helping organise activities or projects. The exact contribution and length of stay can be agreed together with each host. -
