I’m passionate about traveling and art. I love creative projects that express the beauty of nature. I also enjoy eco tasks, gardening, and learning from people who care about the planet and people.
My next destination:
Barcelona, Spain - from Oct 2025 until Nov 2025 View allDescription
Hola! This is Manu and I’m an artist and biologist passionate about the connection between nature and creativity. My art is inspired by the organic forms, textures, and colors found in the natural world — I see it as a way to express the harmony that exists between humans and the environment.
I’m a sensitive person who finds joy in sharing and connecting with others. My life motto is “in a pack, nothing feels scary.” I’m sociable and I care deeply about both personal and collective growth. Beyond my professions, I’m simply someone who enjoys a wide variety of activities and loves learning new skills and that's why I've really enjoyed the experiences I've had with Worldpackers and Workway.
I’ve been traveling since 2021. My first solo trip was a Worldpackers experience in Hawaii, where I helped maintain a self-sufficient house surrounded by fruit trees and animals like ducks, sheep, goats, and chickens. Later, my last Workaway experience was with a lovely English couple in France, where I worked for their restaurant as a cashier, waitress, bartender, and for their house as a gardener, builder, and carpenter.
I also lived in Australia for two and a half years, working in restaurants and cafés, tattooing, and traveling along the east coast. These experiences taught me to be adaptable, creative, and responsible.
There’s no doubt that I’m always willing to learn and help and I’m also known for my good energy, open attitude, and commitment to every task.
I truly enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like watching the sunset or having a deep conversation with someone. I feel that I came to this world to experience those small, meaningful moments that make life beautiful.
Right now, I’m based in Colombia, but I’m preparing my next adventure. I’ll travel to Barcelona soon to visit a friend for two weeks, and after that, I plan to spend around two and a half months in Europe sharing my creativity, learning from others, and connecting with inspiring people and new places.Interests

More details about your skills
Because I’m a botanical biologist, I have solid knowledge about plants and I’m very good at the art of gardening. I’m also passionate about animals and have experience taking care of them.
As an artist, I have skills in painting, mural art, tattooing, photography, and digital illustration.
A few years ago, I created my own bakery, which helped me develop abilities in pastry, accounting, digital marketing, product photography, and content creation — everything that comes with running a small business.
I’ve also worked in hospitality as a waitress, bartender, and cashier, and I enjoy working in teams and helping with guests.
I’m used to physical work and love learning new things. I consider myself responsible, adaptable, and full of good energy, with a deep love for nature, creativity, and meaningful experiences.Age
