Description
Hey there! I'm a 27-year-old Chinese woman living a sort of nomadic life. I teach English online to cover my daily expenses, and I do work exchange to really connect with locals.
In my downtime, I'm a big reader—mostly social science stuff. I also love watching debates and talks; honestly, learning new things is just fun for me. Plus, I'm really into photography—I love taking pictures of people, animals, and scenery.
To stay healthy and keep my mind clear, I try to go hiking or climb a mountain at least once a week. I also do yoga and Pilates regularly. And if I get the chance, I'm all about rock climbing, archery, and kayaking—they're super challenging and a blast!
I have a cat and a dog, but they're staying with my mom for now. I miss them like crazy, but I feel like I need to go out and explore the world. If I ever find a city I want to settle in, I'll bring them over. I've got loads of experience taking care of pets, and I've even helped out with animal rescue before.
I'm a little shy when I first meet people, so I might be a bit nervous in a new place—just give me a little time to warm up. I value sincerity and mutual respect in my relationships with others. I always appreciate and reciprocate kindness and respect, but I also don't tolerate rudeness or disrespect. I believe that setting healthy boundaries is the key to finding your true comfort zone. Haha. -

Languages
Languages spoken
English: Fluent
Chinese (Mandarin): Fluent
French: Beginner
Japanese: BeginnerMore details about my language interests
I've got about a year of experience teaching English to Chinese students—mostly reading and writing. Since I love reading myself, I always push my students to read more and learn new words naturally from context. I also took an A1 French course at Alliance Française and still dabble in online lessons, but it's hard—and I barely get to use it, so I'm moving at a snail's pace. So if you speak French, please talk to me! As for Japanese, I've been to Japan a few times and watch some anime, so I know a handful of basic phrases, but never really studied it properly. If you know Japanese, I'd be super happy to practice with you too! -

More details about your skills
1. Coding skills – I used to be an electronics engineer, so I've got solid programming and logical thinking skills. I can help build websites, apps, or just do some basic maintenance if needed.
2. Pet care – I've had a cat for 3 years and a dog for 1 year, so I'm totally comfortable taking care of both. Feeding, walking, playing, cleaning – I can handle it all.
3. Childcare & tutoring – I've worked as a private tutor for middle school and elementary kids, teaching English. So I'm good with kids – whether it's helping with homework, playing games, or just keeping them company.
4. Cooking & housework – I can cook quite a few dishes. My signature ones are tomato scrambled eggs, Coca-Cola chicken wings, and garlic spare ribs. And I can also whip up vegan meals if that's your thing. So if you need a hand in the kitchen, I've got you covered.
5. Photography & media – I have professional photography gear and know my way around video editing. I can shoot, edit, and even help with social media content if that's something you're into. -

What else ...
I'm a big gamer! I love board games—especially the strategy, deduction, and adventure kinds. I also play video games, though I try to keep myself from getting too hooked. And here's the thing: I'm also a game designer (self-proclaimed, haha). I really hope to create my own game one day, but I haven't made it happen yet. Right now I'm working hard on improving my art skills to get there.
