  • Description

Hello. My name is actually Carlos, but you can call me Charles/Charlie or ''espi'' if you want. It is way easier.
I am open in case you want an interview or an online call likeWhatsapp, zoom, google meet, etc. to get to know any other details you might want to ask. Here is also my email address: [email protected] and I always answer the chat here very quick.
But in case you want to read first, please, allow me to introduce myself:

I am a student of economics at an online univeristy in my homecountry (Spain).
(since it is online I only have to do the tests like once a year).

So I figured out. Why cannot I use this platform to travel and meet some awesome new people in the process? I only need to dedicate a few hours a day . So I can do it everywhere right? The rest of the time is all yours.

I have got my visas and passport recently approved so I am very excited to try this idea. I have been before in sites like: trustedhousesitters.com

    A little bit about me:
I am a practicing catholic although I respect other believe systems or no believe at all.

I HAVE NEVER SMOKED, DRINKED ALCOHOL OR DONE ANY SORT OF DRUG.

I do not like to party (prefer other activities like sports/gym, walking outdoors, camping) and I can adapt to pretty much every lifestyle routine (more busy, more relaxed, elderly people, young people with kids, pets etc.)

I consider myself a very polite guest and proactive person who tries to be respectful always. I try to keep everything clean and do not disturb. I am very organized but as well I can very flexible and try to adapt to the rules I have to follow . I will gladly help with any side project you need. (I am not a person with lots of skills but I can learn pretty fast.)

I also have an international drivers license and over here in Europe the majority of the cars are manual. That is why I can say I am very confident in my driving skills. (I can do basic stuff to cars like maintenence, changing fluids etc, very minor repairs)

I do not mind living with a family kind of like au pair or something else like an older person (or any type of host, even a religious community . Sure I can help them out too!). I usually prefer longer stays. But I hardly say no any new adventures!

I have been living by my own since I was 16 and in many different locations of my country so I am pretty independent and have learned to prepare meals, do some basic home tasks, groceries etc. (I hope I will be helpful at any emergencies if the situation needs it as well.)

My English level is great and I come from the region of Spain where the Spanish was created, so my accent is pretty neutral and very easy to understand.

Anyway. Thank you for your patience on reading this. God bless you always. I hope you liked my profile and want to meet in person, so I can start picking my flights and packing everything up as quick as possible. See ya!

More details about my language interests
Knowledge is power. So in the longterm anything is needed. I am very interested in the process of learning. I have also studied french and latin at school for a few years but I am very basic at those languages. I have tried italian because it is very similar to spanish. But I have not dedicated enough time to it.

  • More details about your skills

I have worked with organic urban gardens before so I know a little bit about plants.

I am not an exceptional cook but I have always prepared food for other people like roomates or guests when I was sharing a house in my first year of University.

I hate doing the cleanup of the dishes in the era of dishwashing machines but I am used to it. heheheh

I can manage some electric tools like drills, etc if you are working on something. I can also help build some furniture or making small repairs around the house. But I am not an proffesional.

I play some guitar and a little bit of piano so I can teach a few begginer things to anyone interested.

Since I am an economic student I can help with personal finance or something simple like helping managing a monthly budget.

I also have been living with different pets most of my life, birds, turtles, fish, dogs and cats. And I have helped before childs with what they needed to study, babysitted them and (yes) also spanish classes.

  • What else ...

I do not have social media. I like to meet people in real life. The physical world is much more interesting than the virtual right? Anything behind a screen is not the same. Do you agree?
