Description

Hi, my name is Esperanza. I am originally from Mexico and a Canadian citizen, living in Quebec since 2009.
I am a solopreneur working in tech consulting, mainly remotely. I speak fluently English, French, and Spanish, and I have an intermediate level of German, which I’m always happy to practice and improve.

In 2024, I began embracing a more nomadic lifestyle. Since then, I’ve been open to living in different places and participating in meaningful exchanges. I am especially interested in sustainable, ecological, and community-based projects, as well as gardening, house-sitting, pet-sitting, language exchange, and outdoor initiatives.

I am also open to tech-related projects, whether paid or as part of an exchange. I can contribute to digital organization, consulting, online systems, or other tech-oriented support depending on your needs.

I am available for both short- and longer-term stays, and I enjoy dedicating myself seriously to projects where I can add value in both the short and long term.

My Connection with Nature & Animals

I feel deeply connected to nature. I am happiest outdoors — by lakes, in forests, on hiking trails, or cycling long distances. I enjoy biking (including long rides along the lake), hiking, cross-country skiing in winter, and walking in natural spaces. I practice grounding and contemplation in nature, connecting with trees, plants, flowers, the sky, and the earth.

Animals have a very special place in my heart. I feel a natural rapport with cats, birds, dogs, and most animals. Recently, I helped rescue a turtle that was crossing a highway to prevent it from being harmed — I truly see animals as important beings deserving of care and respect.

I love meeting cats during walks and cuddling them, birdwatching and listening to birdsong, which brings me instant peace. I also enjoy caring for plants and gardening and am always happy to help maintain green spaces.

I have lived in Canada and spoken English for more than 20 years and have acquired fluency in both French and English. I can also teach Spanish as this is my mother tongue language. Interested in practicing more my German intermediate level and learning other languages as well!
