Hi ! I'm Lucas, born and raised in France, I have lived most of my adult life in Australia and New Zealand. I have been working as a builder since I was 16 and have learned many different trades in different countries. I like to go with the flow and do what motivates me. I love nature and spending time outdoors, I was managing a 20ha off grid avocado farm for several years in NZ, building most of it, taking care of many animals and trees and managing and helping workers on the farm. I like doing things myself, whether it's fixing furniture or rebuilding old cars, I am dedicated to recycle and reuse as much as possible. I also love gardening and eating fresh homegrown food. I want to bring my skills to help others and learn about different cultures, also being surrounded by like minded individuals who want to build a more sustainable world for everyone.

I am a carpenter by trade but have worked many different building jobs since. I am comfortable with big wooden structures and have been learning joinery by myself. I can do plumbing and setup irrigation quite well, corrugated iron roofing, basic electricity, landscaping, earth works, some concreting and fencing. I can look after a small herd of cows or goats and have got some good knowledge about chickens. I can drive a small digger, tractor and other machines but do not have a license. I love fixing cars and refurbishing old ones. I have good knowledge about avocado trees, can do pruning, tree planting or clearing. I like gardening and would like to learn some more. I know how to use, look after and be safe around most tools. I have managed a lot of woofers and can organize work, make and read plans.
