  • Description

    Hi there!

    I am a master student from Milano, Italy. I have been part of various group projects and volunteering works before. What motivates me most is to get to know new people and places! As a workawayer I can offer my experience in group works and manual labor. What I expect in return is to be able to travel and work within a reasonable amount of budget.

    In my free time I enjoy to cycle, play guitar, take photographs, do hikes or just hang out with friends. Even though I am not the best cook ever I enjoy cooking for people. During my stay I can offer to cook some Turkish or Italian food.

  • More details about your skills

    As a product designer there are some skills I have developed natively during my studies such as softwares, hand tools and some soft skills like concept development and team working. I can say I am comfortable with most of the hand tools and woodworking. There are some computer programs I have been using for years like Keyshot, illustrator, photoshop, indesign, after effects, Rhinoceros3D and Blender. Other than that I take photography and I have done illustration projects before.

    Other than my professional skills I have been to various group projects and volunteering works before. Here are some of the experiences I had;

    2021-2022 Solar Decathlon
    I have taken part in Solar Decathlon Competition and worked in a team over hundered people for a year and half. During this time I had a chance to gain insight about how to work in a team of people with different backgrounds, doing various graphic design works, I gained experience in giving presentations to large crowds and most importantly had a chance of working in a construction site for building a two storey home from scratch. I have used almost every sort of hand tool required to build a home during this period.

    2017 SCI Germany, Hamburg, volunteering camp
    In this camp I was a volunteer for three weeks in a hostel. As a volunteer I was responsible of organisational works as well as landscaping around the hotel.

    2016 Legambiente Italy, Parco de Lavino, volunteering work
    As a volunteer I was working with a group of other volunteers to clean and organise a national park located in the middle of Italy. It was my first experience as a volunteer.

  • What else ...

    I like to cycle, sometimes I do long cycling tours like several hundred kilometers. I am enthusiastic about learning photography and have a professional camera. I enjoy playing nylon acoustic guitar for years but need to practice more. I'd say it takes very little to make me feel content and I am someone easy to get along well.
