Hello reader! We're a dual-nationality couple from France and Ireland. I am an English teacher who loves travelling and am originally from Belfast in the North of Ireland. Thomas is originally from Brittany, NW France and is working in business. We both live in Lille, North of France at the moment. We love to share our culture, experiences and to meet new people from all over the world!

I am a big fan of cooking and discovering new dishes, techniques and new ingredients! Coming from a culture not known for its gastronomy, I have learned a lot from different exchanges and cultural experiences in the past. Thomas is also passionate and curious about new cultures, languages and learning new skills - regardless of the subject! We both love to discover, share and learn new skills through others and am not afaird of getting stuck in!

Our friends associate us with being very positive and adventurous people, we rarely say no to new experiences as we are very curious. I have done a wide variety of jobs, with a lot of experience in childcare and interpersonal communication. Thomas has lived abroad and travelled around world growing up, discovering new cultures at a young age. We both love animals and would really enjoy working on a farm or taking care of different animals.

Coming from a family of 4 and 3children, we are used to sharing and living with other people. Dividing tasks, working together and always trying to bring out the best in people. Looking forward to meeting you and discovering your everyday reality!

Both of us already speak English and French with some other bits and pieces of languages. We love to use both these languages to communicate with lots of different people!
My expertise lies in English teaching (primary and university settings) to both young adults and children across different background subjects. I have worked in a variety of countries in educational backgrounds and have managed teams of teachers in a busy language school environment. I am flexible and know how to adapt quickly to new cultural environments.
Thomas is a very chatty, sociable and friendly character who is very knowledgeable in many subjects, from sport to some historial topic, he is always curious to discover more! He is really good at finding solutions to my problems, likes to be quite hands on and tends to be a very practical, efficient worker.
