WE would describe ouself as being adventurous, open minded and interested in many things. I also I love photography, nature, hiking, skiing and being around other people.

Description

Hi, we are Lars, Susan and Mateo (2 years) and we are from Munich in Germany. We travel as a family with our son in our campervan. We started about 26 months ago. We are from Germany . We are traveling because we want to spend time as a family and we possibly like to find a home on our travels (forever home).
We normally work as an civil engineer and social worker.

We are happy to help with anything you might need. We are easygoing, relaxed, and happy to help and engage in other cultures.

We don't need much. We come with our campervan, which has solar electricity, a bed and kitchen. 

We love nature and the outdoors. We are easygoing; we like to learn new things and meet people.

We like being active—swimming, walking, exploring nature and wildlife. We love animals, meeting new people, and listening to their unique stories. 


We prefer traveling with a purpose and are keen on getting involved in various activities or jobs that would contribute positively to the place that we are visiting. This is why we like workaway. We also have a few experiences with workaway. We helped on a campsite in France at the beginning of our trip, at a bed and breakfast in Switzerland for two weeks, at an olive farm in Greece and in toskany, various families in Portugal, Spain and Italy, etc.

We love to stay with families or also communities. I also can look for other children. Our son is easygoing. But still needs attention. So mostly one of us can work 100% and the other one works with Mateo, what means a lot of fun but depending on the work the output drops a bit. It is no problem for us to contribute to the meals if we might can not help enough as we need to look for our son.

Lars is an engineer as profession. He is a very good handyman and could help you repair things around the house for example. He build everything inside our canpervan included the solar power and electricity. He likes to work with wood.
But he is also open to every other task. He is very easygoing.

I worked in tourism (my first study is Tourism Management), reception, booking, souvenir shop, kitchen, waiting guest .. soo as you can see I like to help with tourists :).

I also worked as a tour guide in Sweden in summer an winter for a couple of years. In winter I guided skitours and snowshoe tours and in summer hiking and canoe. I love to be outside. In Munich I guide city tours.

My second study is social work. In Munich I work with children of all ages. I can help with your kids but also around the house. This also is usally very good poosible with Mateo. Cooking, cleaning, looking for other children...

I also like animals a lot. We always had dogs. I could also go for a walk with your dog or take care of them when you are not at home. I could also care about other animals.
