My husband and I are interested in teaching English to all ages and improving our Spanish. We are travelling the Patagonia now and arriving in Mexico on February 20th.,2023
Description
Travelling, to and seeing new places and things makes me happy. I like studying and learning when holidaying in other countries. I would be very happy picking fruit to teaching English in nice warm settings. Happy to try and eat all different cuisines. I do enjoy cooking and baking. I guess what motivates me the most is being around fellow travels and listening to their stories.

My name is Donna. I have been a teacher in Calgary, Canada for many years and still sub.( can tutor mathematics for high school students). I went to Xiamen, China for 10 weeks teaching English this was a volunteer position (Theme: Bring Canada to China). My husband( Wallace) and I were Vaughan town volunteers. This program is in Spain, English speaking volunteers meet together with Spanish paying clients to learn English for 8 hours a day. Would highly recommend!

Wallace and I volunteered as rangers in Manual Antonio National Park, Costa Rica for one month: Help with ticket sales, beach clean up and talking to tourists about the regulations. In 1988 I volunteered with the Calgary winter Olympics. My position was working at the ski-hill, I ushered folks to their seats.
We have travelled a lot, to around 35 countries, lived in Malta and Portugal. The last three winter my husband and I have been living in Mexico and studying Spanish. We are both in our 60's. My husband had a stroke 5 years ago and still has paralyzes in his left arm and leg, but gets around very will with a cane. He is a red seal mechanic with 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Now retire. We are both interested in teaching English to adults.Age
