Description
Hey, my name is Dominik, and I live right in the middle of Switzerland. I’ve just finished my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and now I feel it’s time for a little “me time.” To do that, I’m fulfilling a long-time dream of traveling through Japan.
In Japan, I want to enjoy its nature and culture. I love hiking in beautiful places, visiting shrines, and experiencing anything impressive along the way. Despite my love for nature, I’d also like to explore some Japanese cities and taste all the typical food Japan has to offer.
In general, I’m very uncomplicated and easy to make happy. Maybe I’ll meet some fellow travelers or locals along the way, which would be awesome. So if you’re looking for someone to share a sake with or someone to admire Mount Fuji together, feel free to send me a message.
I’ll try to learn some basic Japanese sentences, though I’m not particularly confident yet but maybe you can help me with that. -

More details about your skills
My main experience are of technical nature. Since I was a little boy I helped my father in his job as carpetner. I even built a lot of my furniture in my home myself. After school I did a 4-year apprenticeship as a polymechanic. There I learned not only how to manufacture parts and assemble agricultural machinery (the Aebi Terratrac, or Transporter) but also everything you need to know about metals and plastics. Today I work as an automation engineer. I can bring in my craftsmanship and creative thinking and work out solutions for all obstacles. My colleagues often appreciate my ideas and my reliability. I hope that I can implement these qualities when I work for you.
Since I life in my own house I also discovered to work with plants and I like it alot. I still have to learn a lot in these things but I am totaly willing to do so. I learn fast and hope to learn a lot of new things at my stay. -
