Description
I love the outdoors and travelling.
Being with nature and having a passion for the animal kingdom and the environment is very important to me. Not only is it good for mental wellbeing but also for people to connect with nature and respect it.
I also find it valuable to connect with each other and meet new people from all walks of life when having the opportunity to travel. This can bring the world closer together through understanding each other and each others values.
Kindness goes a long way. -

More details about your skills
I volunteer at a local animal sanctuary in the UK where I have experience helping out with tasks such as looking out for and caring for a variety of animals including chickens, ferrets, goats and pigs. I have also helped with maintenance such as helping to put up a new fence and general duties like gardening. I work well alone or as part of a team.
I have also volunteered at farms when I travelled New Zealand in 2014. I did composting amongst other things like chopping and collecting firewood. I got to experience life on a organic farm too and helped to harvest hazelnuts.
My love of animals has had me dog sitting/walking for local friends of mine. And I have completed two courses at college including 'Introduction to Canine Behaviour and Training', followed up by the intermediate level . At home I have a cat which I look after and care for with the family.
I have also done plenty of general house duties for people on my travels such as cleaning and tidying up equipment.
My 'Charity Work' experience that I did was for the British-based animal charity RSPCA. In 2022 I thru-hiked about 2,200 miles along the Appalachian Trail in North America from Georgia to Maine. It was an experience I will never forget. A considerable amount of funds was raised and it has inspired me to be more involved with charity work in the future. -
