Description
Hello, my name is Daniel and I’m planning to spend some time traveling in Europe. I’m from a town called Newbridge in County Kildare, Ireland. My family home is beside the River Liffey, which is a beautiful river that starts in the Wicklow mountains and runs through the capital city of Ireland, Dublin. I love the outdoors and nature, and I enjoy exploring. My hobbies are hill walking, yoga, camping, riding my bike, swimming in the sea in winter and summer, socializing with my friends, and rock climbing. I love to go to outdoor markets and farmer's markets and have had the opportunity to work at many over the years, as well as at festivals locally in my community. I like trying new things and I like to live life on the edge. I did a bungee swing off a bridge in Zambia at Victoria Falls over the Zambezi River from 111 meters and a tandem skydive in Ireland from 13000 feet. I enjoy outdoor and water sports. I am also interested in hunting and gathering, although I have not yet had the opportunity to go hunting. I love to cook and have developed some good knowledge and skills. I would be more than happy to cook for groups of people and to pass on as much knowledge as I can. I recently got into baking and I’m trying to get better with every attempt. I eat any food given to me; I’m not a fussy eater and I will try any type of food. I love to experience new cuisine and learn as much as I can while on my travels.
I’m 32 years old and have been able to travel to many countries around the world and have worked in America, Belgium, Spain, Canada, and Germany. I have a bachelor's degree in hotel and leisure management and a bachelor's degree in international bar studies. For the last 13 years, I've been working in hospitality, starting as a server in a restaurant in Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin city center and working my way up to various management roles in bars, restaurants, hotels, and cafes over the years.
On my travels, I want to experience new cultures, landscapes, and flora and fauna. I’m a great communicator who loves to talk, play cards, board games, go on walks, and tell stories about my culture, where I’m from, and my adventures. My goal is to do lots of farming on my travels. I like hard work, and when I start something, I finish to a high standard. I love to learn about nature and animals and I like to work outside in the fresh air, listening to the birds, animals, and nature around me. I have farming experience with machinery, cows, pigs, goats, and chickens. I am also good with my hands and can use power tools and hand tools. I was taught about farm safety and respect for the dangers on farms. All animals are my friends and I love to watch wildlife. I treat animals the same way I treat humans. I eat meat and am interested in butchery.
I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh, and I always stay positive. I don’t take life too seriously. I like watching movies and series with a wide variety of tastes, but my favorite would be old Western movies with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. I learn fast and use my initiative; I don’t need to be told the same thing twice. I’m confident and can work on my own. I also have no problem asking for help. I’m polite and helpful and try my best to be a gentleman. I’m a tidy person and I respect people's privacy and appreciate the same in return. I also love to tell stories about my adventures around the world and my Irish culture and heritage.Interests

Daniel was such an immense help. All we had to do was point him in the general direction and he took care of everything.
