Description
Hi! I’m Daiki, 25 years old, currently in Brisbane, Australia.
What motivates me and brings me happiness is living in environments completely different from what I’ve experienced before and having meaningful conversations with the people who live there.
From August to November, I stayed in Australia and completed six homestays through Workaway, where I experienced daily life with local families and communities.
I will be moving to Sydney from 1 January 2026, and I am very excited to continue exploring new cultures and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

I have good physical strength. Before moving to Tokyo, I helped with farm work at my family home every week, so I’m used to hard labor.
I also have basic PC skills and knowledge. I studied information engineering up to graduate school and have experience with programming (although I plan to withdraw from graduate school this October).
Additionally, I like children and animals!

What else ...
I enjoy activities and games!
When I visited Macau, I did the world’s highest bungee jump. I was pretty scared before jumping, but after the jump, it was really fun and felt amazing (you can see the photo).
As for games, I like Nintendo games such as Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.

Feedback
Anja and Alberto were very warm and welcoming, and I was truly happy to be there.
Their dog, Pipo, was always hungry and would adorably beg for food whenever I was eating.
The nearby beach had a beautiful view and a refreshing breeze.
I wish both of them all the best in the future.
Daiki helped us with lots of gardening and cleaning. We wish him all the best in his adventures in Australia.
Rebecca kindly invited me despite being busy with work,… read more
