Kia ora!
I am currently living in Australia:)Description
Kia ora! My name is Courtney and I just finished travelling around Europe over the past 1.5 years. Now living in Australia!
I am 29 years old and have lived in Aotearoa (New Zealand) my whole life. I love living here but have been wanting to experience different ways of life and expand my ideas and perspective. I am a qualified school teacher and would love to continue teaching or caring for children. I have 6 years in nannying, 4 years of school teaching and 8 years of drum tutoring.
In 2019 I backpacked around Asia for a few months and had an amazing time! I'm really looking forward to meeting people, learning about new cultures, languages and foods, particularly in European destinations.
In an ideal world, I would love to live in a natural setting in Europe. Somewhere with plenty of trees, plants, rivers, lakes, and beaches, etc.
I am fully house trained as I have occupied shared living homes for the past 9 years. I am always clean, tidy and considerate of others. Usually my house mates refer to me as mum haha
I enjoy a relaxed lifestyle and highly value the importance of a balanced lifestyle and mental well-being.
I can speak some basic Spanish (approx 1000 words), and would be very interested in taking this further. I would also love to teach you some Te Reo Māori from Aotearoa (New Zealand).
I look forward to meeting other travelers and hosts! Please feel free to ask any questions!
Ngā mihi,

More details about your skills
Teaching has been my life for the past four years. I have taught 5 year olds to 14 years olds English, Math, Reading, Sports, Science and more! I have a bachelor of education and my passion is to create learning that is engaging and inspiring for tamariki (children).
I also have a passion for music and have played drums since I was a child, and taught for over 8 years! I would love to find some fellow musicians to jam with or just enjoy some good tunes.
Baking, cooking, art, dancing, music, biking, golf and reading are some of my favourite hobbies.
I consider myself to have good initiative, and can pick up new skills quickly, or find things that need doing them and get them done!Age
