Description

I’m a travelling from UK looking for a hands-on, immersive eco-living and natural building experience

My main focus is learning through practical work, contributing meaningfully, and gaining real experience in sustainable and off-grid living environments.

Long-term, I plan to build a small off-grid eco base in Japan within the next 10–14 years. I’m using this time to learn the foundations of that goal through real projects and shared living.

I’m especially interested in:

• Carpentry and woodworking
• Natural building techniques and foundations
• Installation work (doors, windows, simple structural builds)
• Off-grid systems, including:
• Composting toilets
• Water systems / rainwater harvesting
• Solar power setups
• Permaculture and food forest systems
• Sustainable / low-impact living practices
• Environmental conservation projects

I invest deeply when I’m engaged in something I care about, and I’m very motivated to learn, contribute physically, and be useful wherever needed.

I’m less focused on “travel perks” and more interested in the work, the learning, and being part of meaningful projects. Living close to nature and gaining real-world skills is what matters most to me.

I’m easygoing, adaptable, and happy to work hard, especially in outdoor and hands-on environments.
