Description

Hello, I’m Ciara, 27, from Ireland. Over the past four years, I’ve been travelling and living abroad, spending time in both Canada and Australia, and I’ve loved meeting people and experiencing different ways of life along the way.

I spent about a year and a half in Canada and completely fell in love with the outdoors there. I enjoy hiking, exploring new places, and just being outside, taking everything in. One of my main reasons for going to Canada was to see wildlife (especially bears and whales), and I was lucky enough to see both, although I’m always keen for more wildlife adventures.

My most recent adventure brought me to Australia, where I travelled extensively and explored a lot of the country, which really deepened my love for outdoor life. I also worked on a cattle farm, where I got hands-on experience in an outdoor working environment, including early starts, physical farm work, and being part of a small team. It was a great experience that taught me a lot about responsibility, adaptability, and working hard in all conditions.

I’m really interested in learning new skills, helping out where I’m needed, and sharing experiences with hosts along the way. I’m easygoing, reliable, and excited to keep discovering new places and people.

I love learning and experiencing new skills, and am a very quick learner. Having worked my way through high school and university, I am very hardworking and diligent and have no problem getting stuck into any task. I am a very good listener and can aid with any problem solving.

I have had a lot of different work experiences in my life, including gardening and garden maintenance, cleaning and upholding proper cleaning standards, assisting ski school camps to teach and coach children about their skiing, I have completed an English teaching certificate and have assisted people in learning English. I work a lot of customer facing jobs in food and beverage and in a pharmacy, so I am quite enthusiastic and friendly. Additionally, I love animals and have dog-sat for various people.

I hold a full drivers licence and have no problem driving smaller or larger vehicles.

What else ...

I have a huge interest in music and have been singing in choirs and on my own since I was 8 years old. I began learning piano shortly afterwards and have recently started learning the ukulele.

I love reading and writing, mostly fiction books but I am trying to expand my interest further to non-fiction and more historical books.

I really enjoy kayaking and swimming or any water based activity.
