Description
I am a 35 year old Dutchman. My friends describe me as an optimistic, friendly and cheerful person, whereas colleagues described me as hard-working and innovative. I'm interested in spirituality; I can teach yin yoga, yin yang yoga and yoga nidra classes, and I can host guided meditations. Also, I love cooking, playing guitar, singing and working with animals.

I'm interested in learning more about farming, permaculture and DIY, to expand my skills in those fields.

Currently, I'm working as a Psychology teacher, and due to working in education I have a long summer holiday, in which I would love to do another workaway.

For about 3,5 weeks I stayed with Mukti, David, Yara, Joy, Puppy, Lion, Tiger and the chickens, and it was lovely. There is an abundance of positive energy in and around the house, with Mukti and her family spreading this love all around. Thus I can recommend anyone to stay here!

During my stay at this place I had an amazing time. Johanna and Rain were really hospitable and included me in their family from day 1, which made me feel like I was at home. Chris stayed with us for a month and helped with everything needed. He is very helpful, organised and optimistic. Everything he did, he put his full attention and focus. He got along very well with the dogs and he has this something in order to interact with little kids. Our kids adored him:)

It was great doing a workaway here at the hostel. Lynda and Harry are both warm and funny and I enjoyed their company a lot, as well as the company of Jimmy, Lorna and the other volunteers. The hostel has a nice vibe with all the animals, both painted on the walls and in real life - especially Cosmo, which is a lovely dog.

Volunteering at the place was an experience that I will cherish forever. It's amazing to work in a place with so many lovely dogs around you.
