Hi everyone!

It's never easy to sum yourself up, but here’s a little piece of my story: after 15 years working in the cultural field in Lorraine, I decided to drop everything and hit the Camino de Santiago. No plan, just the urge to walk, breathe, and see where the road would take me.
I crossed France, Spain, a bit of Portugal… and ended the adventure on a farm through Workaway in the Pyrenees.

Since then, I’ve been following my instincts. Right now, I’m working as a receptionist in a nature village on the island of Noirmoutier. I love this simple, nature-connected lifestyle, and I fully intend to keep living with the rhythm of the seasons, moving around as opportunities come up.

Learning languages has become one of my top priorities: I’m working on my English, and hoping to tackle Spanish and Italian next. This winter, I’d love to get my hands back in the dirt and dive into another meaningful volunteer experience.

What drives me? Wide open spaces, passionate people, unexpected encounters, animals, the sea, the mountains, and a good meal shared with others. In short: discovering, learning, helping, laughing—and doing it all over again.

Salut à tous ! Pas facile de se résumer, mais voilà un bout de mon histoire : après 15 ans dans le milieu culturel en Lorraine, j'ai décidé de tout envoyer balader pour partir sur le chemin de Compostelle. Pas de plan, juste l'envie de marcher, souffler, voir ce que la route avait à offrir. J'ai parcouru la France, l'Espagne, un bout du Portugal… et j'ai terminé l'aventure dans une ferme en Workaway dans les Pyrénées orientales. Depuis, je continue de suivre mon instinct. Aujourd'hui, je bosse comme réceptionniste dans un village nature sur l'île de Noirmoutier. J'adore ce mode de vie simple, proche de la nature, et j'ai bien l'intention de continuer à vivre au rythme des saisons, en bougeant au gré des opportunités. Apprendre les langues fait partie de mes priorités : je veux améliorer mon anglais, puis me lancer dans l'espagnol et l'italien. Et cet hiver, j'aimerais remettre les mains dans la terre et revivre une belle expérience de volontariat. Ce qui m'anime ? Les grands espaces, les gens passionnés, les rencontres improbables, les animaux, la mer, la montagne, un bon repas partagé. Bref : découvrir, apprendre, aider, rigoler, recommencer.

Versatile and full of energy, I’ve picked up a lot of skills over the years—both through work and real life experience. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve known how to take care of a garden, weed, harvest veggies from the patch, or climb trees to grab some fruit.

During a Workaway, I looked after all sorts of animals: pigs, cows, horses, sheep… I also cleared brush, fixed up fences, and brought a bit of order back to the land. In short: muddy boots? I’m no stranger.

I do a bit of DIY, I cook, I tidy with a weird kind of enthusiasm, and I’m always up for lending a hand. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty—actually, I kind of love it.

And most of all: I love learning, trying new things, sharing… and having a good laugh along the way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Polyvalente et pleine d'énergie, j'ai appris pas mal de choses au fil des années, aussi bien dans ma vie pro que dans la vraie vie. Depuis toute petite, je sais entretenir un jardin, désherber, récolter les légumes du potager ou grimper dans les arbres pour hacher les fruits. En Workaway, j'ai nourri tout un tas de bestioles : cochons, vaches, chevaux, moutons… J'ai aussi débroussaillé, retapé des clôtures, remis un peu d'ordre dans la nature. Bref, les bottes dans la boue, ça me connaît. Je bricole, je cuisine, je range avec une certaine passion bizarre, je suis toujours partante pour filer un coup de main, et je n'ai pas peur de me salir les mains (au contraire !). Et surtout : j'aime apprendre, tester, partager… et rigoler un peu au passage.
