  • Description

My name is Chiara, I’m 34 years old, an artist and art therapist.
In July 2025, I walked my first Camino de Santiago, and this experience led me to the decision to leave Milan, to leave Italy, and begin a journey around the world that started in September with a one-way ticket to Japan.
I am in search, listening deeply to myself and to everything this journey will offer and teach me. I am a very open and curious person; I like to go deep, which is why I’m very interested in authentic connections with the cultures I encounter. For me, this journey is meant to be a spiritual and transformative experience. Art is a faithful companion along the way — I always carry a small camera and an audio recorder with me. I’m deeply fascinated by sounds and love to capture the sonic imprint of the world I move through.
I seek places where ritual and belief are still alive, where tradition is still vibrant, and myths too. I’m drawn to nature and wish to learn how to use my hands — to build, shape, repair, cultivate the land, to cook new dishes and to understand the ways other people live beyond the boundaries society has imposed on us.
I am a performer, and above all, I’m interested in everything that involves the body. I want to explore as many bodily and holistic practices as I can, especially those that promote healing and personal growth. I choose to dedicate the next part of my life to discovery, exploration, and direct, non-academic learning.
I believe that reconnecting with nature is essential to rediscovering a collective sense of belonging that we are losing. In my work, I feel a strong urgency to guide people back to a connection with themselves and with others — and in this sense, art is for me a tool for rebirth and human revolution.

  • More details about your skills

I am a person who carries presence and authenticity. I’m a great listener and deeply passionate. I have an artistic background: I write, work with video and photography, and I am a performer. I lead performance art workshops focused on the relationship with oneself and with others.
I am trained in drama therapy, so I use art as a tool for personal discovery and connection. I also hold a diploma in documentary filmmaking and have produced several documentaries exploring social and introspective themes.
As part of my work, I have facilitated various workshops related to photography and cinema, helping both adults and young people to take ownership of tools to tell their own stories and to develop their own — artistic or otherwise — vision of the world.
