Hey, I'm Charlotte, 22 years old and from Germany. I currently study politcal science in northern germany and I am looking forward to continue traveling this summer. In July I will head off to Uruguay but before I am looking for some short term stays in Europe. After graduating from highschool I already spent five months volunteering in a monestery and its educational and enviromental projects in Egypt. After that I travelled to france for a month doing workaway as well.
Besides my studies, I really enjoy spending time outdoors, usually accompanied by my dog or in the past by a horse that I took care of. Political work, especially in the climate justice movement, is also an important part of my daily life.
My time in egypt has taught me a lot and I had the wonderful opportunity to make great, inspiring friends. I which is why I appreciate the opportunities of workaway. I believe in learing from each other :)

Thinking about workaway, the first thing that comes to my mind that I would like to do is working outside.
I took care of horses for nine years which is why I am used to working on farms and with animals. Besides the horses I also looked after chickens, goats and cats every once in a while. At home I also started gardening as a hobby. Therefore I would be happy to help with that and I would really like to learn about permaculture.
I graduated from high school and then volunteered in egypt. My work consisted of helping in the kitchen (I like cooking, predominatntely vegetarian and vegan food, and would love to improve my skills and learn new recipes), learning how to weave carpets, dog sitting and making jewlery. Moreover I spent quite some time painting in an atelier. I am very open to every kind of art and would be happy to learn from other artists.
During my highschool time I also had the opportunity to gain some experience working with children. I assisted in a project for children in primary school and also looked after children in a summer camp.
Last but not least I want to mention that learning new things is part of the reason I want to do workaway. So whatever it is you can teach me; as long as the circumstances are right I am willing to learn how to do new things. I really look forward to working together!
