    Description

We live on a farm with horses, dogs and cats!
I belong to a dog rescue organization that take in all types of dogs. Mostly large breed as well as puppies. They stay with us until they move onto a dog rescue which can be several provinces away ! We are close to numerous lakes and rivers and enjoy camping, fishing, kayaking and hiking. We have very busy summers as our son chuckwagon races and my daughter and her girls barrel race. So a lot our summer revolve around horses and dogs. We have 3 of our own dogs a Pyrenees that patrols the yard, a young husky and an older mixed breed.

Our horses range from large percherons, down to miniature horses that I drive in parades in the summer. We also have a few local sports days that we have family teams playing slow pitch. Winter involves some cross country skiing with lots of trails nearby as well as snowmobiling.
We are a mixed farming operation in rural SK

I’m specifically looking for someone comfortable with dogs. I usually have no more than 3 extra at a time along with my three. The rescue dogs mostly just need to be walked everyday, fed, watered as well as keeping their pens clean. Some grass cutting as well as some outside painting. Barn cleaning occasionally.
