Hi ! I’m Catherine, 35 from France :)
I enjoy simple things : hiking in nature, exploring thrift shops, swimming, doing DIY projects, taking pictures, listening to live musics or reading with a cup of coffee.
I also like discovering new places, learning about local culture and trying new skills.

I came to Australia on a Working Holiday because I wanted to experience living in another country, meet people in everyday life (not only as a tourist ;) ) and learn different ways of doing things.

I believe in kindness, respect and creativity. One of my dreams is to open a small café one day with homemade cakes, live music and creative workshops : a place where people can feel welcome ! :)

I’m new to Workaway but I’m motivated to help and to be part of a project ! I’m happy to give a hand with daily tasks, hospitality or outdoor work.
I enjoy helping in kitchen and manual/creative tasks like painting, decorating or gardening. I’m not an expert, but I’m willing to learn and I try to do things carefully.

I’m not a specialist in everything but I’m careful, reliable and I enjoy learning new skills while helping out where needed :)

For example :
- DIY & renovation : real fan of furniture renovation and creative projects ! I already renovated parts of my own apartment ;)

- Manual work : painting, decorating, small repairs and gardening. I enjoy spending time in one of my friends' house with chickens, bees, cats and dogs.

- Café experience : helped with serving coffee, cleaning, serving and assisting in the kitchen. I like these cosy moments and chit-chat :)

- Music festival volunteering : helped with setting up, serving beers and cleaning glasses while listening to musics !

- Web development background : trained as a web developer ! I'm comfortable with computers if needed ;)
