Hi there, I am a 51 year old male from Denmark travelling on my motorcycle.
I like travelling, meet new cultures, friends and communities and not least improving my language skills.

I enjoy physical activities in general and like to work both individually as in a team on a shared project, but I am open to most kind of works.

As improving my language skills is important to me I prefer hosts that are native English, German or French speaking (or just one of the persons if the host is a couple).

In 2017 I was working as work away’er on a farm in respectively Washington (the state), USA and in Australia and I loved it. The tasks I did on the farms were a plethora of different things ie. cooking, general maintenance, feeding chickens, digging the weed, painting a fence, clearing land, setting up barbed wire, relocating pigs from one paddock to another, doing the dishes etc.

I have high standards of work ethics and am always willing to learn and apart from above mentioned fx. I could build a shed, do all tasks in a garden, paint a wall, build nest boxes for the wild birds, change oil and filter on the lawn mower etc.

I like cooking and attend informal cooking classes in the community hall, which most of all is a chance to meet up with friends and enjoy cooking and eating wonderful food at the same time.

I have a game licence and are used to gralloch and butcher a deer and I assume the same principles apply for domestic animals as well. I know how to pluck a hen and prepare it for the freezer in case that’s a skill you find useful.

I have an ornamental garden (designed for insects, bees etc) including a kitchen garden and I am used to preserve vegetables for winter storage.

Also I own a small forest in which I have established an orchard and planting native trees to Denmark in order to improve biodiversity and conditions for wildlife.

What else to tell? I like doing sports in general, learning new languages and reading books. I have a Master’s in Economics and work with business development in a bank.
